Plan of Salvation

AWANA is a discipleship program for children ages three through sixth grade. There are separate groups for preschoolers and school-aged children. Each club meeting lasts for two hours, and at FBC, the clubs meet at 4 pm on Sunday afternoons at the Bluebonnet Campus. Go to www.awana.org for additional info on AWANA, or call 343-0397 for more info on our clubs. (Our clubs do not meet during the summer. Check back in August for updated information.)

CHILDCARE OPTIONS: The church offers two weekday options for childcare. At the Downtown Campus, our Child Development Center provides day care from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, five days a week, with the working mom in mind. At the Bluebonnet Campus, we offer a Parents' Day Out program from 9 am to 2 pm, four days each week. This program is geared toward the stay-at-home mom or the mom who works part-time outside the home. Call 343-9688 for the Child Development Center (Downtown) or 767-4080 for the Parents' Day Out program (Bluebonnet).

FAMILY FUN NIGHTS: One Wednesday night each month, families are invited to enjoy a snack supper and some fun activities at our Bluebonnet Campus. The supper begins at 6 and the activities are over by 7:30. First-time guests eat free! Call 343-0397 for the date of the FFN and plan to join us one night real soon.

ONE NATION UNDER GOD
On Independence Day, July 4, First Baptist Church will host a special patriotic program at 7 pm. The program will feature music by the Sanctuary Choir and Orchestra. In addition, there are plans to have a WWII Museum in an area adjacent to the Worship Center where memorabilia from that era will be displayed. You are encouraged to include participation in this special event in your trip downtown for the Fireworks on the Levee at 9 pm.
